The first annual edition of Space Canada Horizons was a tremendous success, welcoming 100+ attendees from across Canada to hear from featured guests from the CSA, the Royal Canadian Air Force, Transport Canada, and the Department of Finance to discuss the momentum that’s building in the Canadian space sector.

Minister of Public Safety, Democratic Institutions and Intergovernmental Affairs
First elected in 2000 and re-elected seven times since, the Honourable Dominic LeBlanc has represented the riding of Beauséjour for over 20 years.
He has previously served as Minister of Infrastructure and Communities, as President of the Queen’s Privy Council for Canada, as Minister of Fisheries, Oceans and the Canadian Coast Guard, and as Leader of the Government in the House of Commons.
Brigadier-General G. Michael Adamson’s career in the Canadian Air Force began in 1993. His journey from Navigator to Instructor and Squadron Officer led to senior roles at National Defence Headquarters, including Career Manager and Strategic Coordination Staff Officer.
In 2020, he was promoted to Brigadier-General and currently commands the 3 Canadian Space Division, highlighting a diverse and impactful military career.
Éric Vachon was recently appointed as acting Vice-President, Corporate Strategy and Innovation, and Chief Financial Officer.
Éric‘s vast experience in the space sector spans over 25 years. He joined the Canadian Space Agency (CSA) in and has held multiple leadership roles.
